Before checking, you should clean the surface of equipment, and then take down the circumjacent parts of bearing. Oil seal is a very delicate part, so dismantling need be careful, do not use big power, and then check the oil seal and circumjacent parts, if there show the unhealthy tendencies, which should be changed, the bad oil seal would make the damage of bearings even equipment’s stopping. 

 

Make some lubricant on your two fingers and then rub, if has infectant, you can feel. Or smearing lubricant on your back of hand, and then checing without light.

 

After cleaning the old oil, if you can, refill the new oil and make the equipment work in low speed several minutes. Try its best to collect the residual pollution, and then clean this oil. It is good for filtering the oil before use it.

It avoids to use the tool with cotton to change the lubricant, because of this rudimental fibrin would wedge into the rolling parts to make damage, especial the small bearings.

 

When checking the bearings, it must not be exposed to contamination or wet environment. If the process stopped, it should be covered by oilpaper or some thing like this.
