Application of tapered roller bearings
Tapered roller bearings are generally used to support combined load mainly consisting of radial load. The bearing's load capacity depends on the outer ring raceway angle, the larger the angle is, the higher the laoad capacity will be. This type of bearing belong to separable bearing bearing. According to the number of columns of the rolling body, tapered roller bearings are divided into single row, double row and four row series. Single row tapered roller bearing require users to adjust the clearance on installment; double row and four row tapered roller bearing clearance has been settled in the factory according to user requirements,don't need the user to adjust again.
Tapered roller bearings with tapered inner ring and outer ring raceway, between two of them are tapered rollers.All cone surfaces projection line gathered at the same point in the bearing axis. This design enables the tapered roller bearings suitable for bearing composite ( radial and axial) loads. Bearing axial load capacity most is decised by the contact angle α; the larger angle is, the higher axial load capacity is. Angle size calculation coefficient e "; e value is more greater, the contact angle is more larger, bearing axialload is much more bigger.
Tapered roller bearings are generally separable, i.e. with roller and cage assembly consisting of the inner ring which made the cone assembly can be installed separately from the cup (outer ring).
Tapered roller bearings are widely used in automotive, rolling mill, mining, metallurgy, plastics machinery industry.
